Starting Emulator

Starting Emulator

Emulator is the virtual device (mobile/tablet) on which you can use all features of a mobile/tablet. Here, you can install apps, you can use internet, you can use play store and blah blah blah.
I am considering that you have started your android application project if not then start it.
You will see the tool bar in the second row. Click on the icon shown in figure or go through tools>Android>AVD manger.

After clicking on that icon a new window will come.

Here one or two virtual devices will be given in start. You can start your application by clicking on play button under Actions heading.
Here we will learn to create our own virtual device. So use the given device or follow to create your own virtual device by clicking on the button Create Virtual Device in the lower left corner.

Note: starting a device for the first time will take 10-15 minutes to start but this won’t happen afterwards.
